How it Began
The Beadholder’s Eye began as a small collection of jewelry displayed within Pixelosis’s booth at conventions from 2016 to 2020. It was there that Sarah Smoak first experimented with eye-themed jewelry, eventually crafting her first beaded eye pendant. In that moment, she knew she had found the ideal blend of bead weaving and an elegantly strange aesthetic.
After years of refining her craft, Sarah is now ready to share her creations with the world. Every piece from The Beadholder's Eye tells a story—from the careful design of each eye to the intricate beadwork that brings it to life.
Observe the Artistry Behind Our Brand
Our process begins with casting eye bases in various sizes. Next, we meticulously sculpt and color the iris, add a pupil from our collection of different shapes and sizes, and then we seal the eye with a resin dome. Each creation is unique, ensuring no two eyes are identical. Once we have a finished eye the decision is made to either set the eye into a pendant or encase it in glass beads.
Once an eye is complete, it is either set into a pendant or encased in intricate glass beadwork. Every step of the process is carried out with the utmost care, ensuring each piece becomes a wearable work of art, rich with its own unique story.
